Parhelia with FSX anyone?

Featured Replies

Wonder if anyone is trying a Matrox Parhelia 3 monitor setup with FSX?How well does it run?--Bryn

Bryn,I am running the nVidia 7950 card with the Matrox TripleHead2Go in FSX, and it is beautiful. There is no loss of performance with the TH2Go.

Thanks Howard, I'm thinking about the TH2G for the future, but I have a Parhelia card tucked away which I might install before FSX arrives. It is a rather old card though and the performance may not be good enough, hence my question for Parhelia users.--Bryn

Gotta agree with Howard, FS9 and FSX run beautifully with the Triplehead to go an a Nvidea 7 series card. I don't think the older Parhelia card would cut it but it doesn't hurt to try it if you already have it.System as it is today:AMD Athlon 64 3700+Asus A8N sli deluxe Mobo2 gigs Corsair ramBFG 7900GTX 512MB (single card no sli)2 Maxtor ATA 133 hard drives (120gig and 300 gig)Thermaltake Tsunami case.Ultra 500 watt power supplyPlextor 708A DVD driveMatrox triplehead to go3 Samsung Syncmaster 930B 19" monitorsSaitek X52 Flight control system (joystik and throttle)CH rudder pedals2 other (older) computers as part of a home networkRegards, Carlos
