Is anyone using the trackir and the Matrox triple head to go together, or is this kinda pointless since the triple head to go has such a wide view?When using the triplehead to go, is the virtual cockpit used, or does it look better with the 2D cockpit?

I use Tack IR3. You only use the VC because most 2d panels are stretched too far on the Triple head. It is certainly not pointless. The view in the VC is superb and looking around it complete the experience.

I have a Dell 24" monitor right now.Should I simply go get 3 20" monitor and the Triple head thingi?And move the 24" for my left window view (Running a second Flight sim on Wideview)But I don't like the IR. It gives me headache.Manny

MannyAre you suggesting to use a 2d panel on the triple head and side view on the 24 inch or a VC on the triple head and side view 24 inch.I think the 2d panels don't work on the triple head because of stretch. Won't the VC plus side view look rather odd?

Howard.I hardly use the 2D. I prefer the VC.I don't want to throw away that 24"monitor.. once I get the triple head for the front view with the three 20" LCDs.The side view with 24" monitor thats independent.Manny
