Problem after installing USB CH yoke and USB CH pedals

Featured Replies

Hello,Just installed the yoke and pedals. Now FS9 won't start, it stalls in the splashscreen...Unplugged both devices, FS9 works fine again. REinstalled the devices with new drivers and new control manager and again FS9 stalls in the splashscreen.I tried the devices in other games and they work fine. Windows XP also recognizes the devices..I got Win XP sp2, directx 9.0cHas anyone ever ran into this problem? I left a message with CH but it takes a bit to get an answer and their knowledge base is down right now..Any help or input would be appreciated.Thank you

Hi VAA 008,I haven't heard of it stalling FS before. Which version of the Control Manager did you install? V4.10 is the latest, it was just posted yesterday. There are some links to it over at the CH Hangar:http://www.ch-hangar.comthat will get you to the download. There was a problem with V4.00 on some systems that caused it to use 100% of the CPU, you might have run into that. V4.10 should fix it if that's what's causing it.Best regards,- BobThe StickWorkshttp://www.stickworks.com

I do have version 4.10Not sure what's going on right now...

Try uninstalling the CH control manager and just let XP findthe yoke and pedals. See if FS9 will load that way...I do it this way myself and theyboth seem to work OK

Agree with Denny. CH Control Manager should come out. Don't bother with it. I have CH Yoke and Ruddder pedals and I've never used control manager for anything in 5 years of using CH stuff. Windows XP will figure it out for you.JS
