Where would one downlioad the RAID Driver from?

Featured Replies

My RMA HD has come and I wanted to setup RAID 0 on my PC ASUS P5W DH Deluxe Mother board. The motherboard has the Intel ICH7R southbride and the MB Disk that came with it says it has the ICH7R RAID 32 bit RAID Driver. However, when I make a disk from that CD ROM and insert it, its displaying ICH8R and not ICH7R.ASUS has the wrong driver on their CD ROM.Where can I get the RAID driver from?I went to ASUShttp://support.asus.com/download/download....SLanguage=en-usAnd all I see are their Micron RAID Driver. My primary RAID uses the Intel ICH7R RAID Driver.Any ideas?Manny

Maybe from Intel?I am not at all familiar with your chipset there. I know for nVidia's nForce4 chipset, which I have, a person would go to the maker of the chipset to download a RAID driver. Or at least I would. I would not go to ASUS first, but rather the chipset maker.RhettAMD 3700+, eVGA 7800GT 256, ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, etc. etc.
