Dear all,I was an intense FS9 user until yesterday when I bought and installed FSX. I knew my system (Pentium 4 2.4 GHz - Geforce Ti4600 - 1Gb RAM - HD 80 MB) would not be too generous on FPS but I decided to make the step. There is one very unpleasant drawback now, apart from lower range FPS: moving road traffic (wheels) and some building roofs are shown in very weird colours, ranging from vivid yellow to green or pink. Is there a way to overcome this, people with same experience, solutions ... apart from investing in new hardware which I would like to do when vista is in (full) force?BTW: most recent nVidia driver was installed (sept.2006)Please help me out here!!!Greetz SVB

The Geforce Ti4600 is a DirectX 8 generation graphics card. FSX will take advantage of the new Vista DirectX 10. Your video card is almost two generations old. The new DirectX 10 video cards will be available in spring of 07. Until then, you can find plenty of Nvidia Directx 9 cards with 256 meg of ram for under $70.

Hello,I still "fly" my old system.....I have to say with less FPS than FS9 (average 20) I try to improve it.

and what are your fsx setting?because on average 20 fps is even for top notch systems unlikely in more 'massive' areas.

Not tried London yet , I'm just transfering all my files over from the old pc.Frame set set to unlimited I'm getting 35- 40 over the coast and 25-35 over Semi rural land with small towns.AA & AF set in the sim and water effects set 2max . Is your sign still the old system or the new machine you just got. I am thinking replacing my 4 year old machine with Core 2 duo and a 7950GT. Current machine (amd xp 3200+ with 6800gt) gets me between 10 and 25 depending area and plane.
