February 10, 200719 yr Hi Guys,Well, the building project is going to be delayed. I received an ASUS Striker motherboard from NEXT International Inc. Turns out the motherboard was used as well as damaged.Below is an insert from a letter I sent the company earlier today indicating the problems I found during my inspection.I find it hard to believe that you would attempt to sell me this obvious "USED" ASUS Striker motherboard as new. For starters, the box was previously opened prior to when it arrived, the CPU pinset is bend, the motherboard power button is missing, the heatsink cooling pipes are bent, and there are parts missing from the package. It is obvious that this board was utilized in the past, and in its present condition I would not even consider placing my $5,000.00 worth of computer hardware onto this motherboard.Just beware when dealing with this company. They are now on my do not purchase from list as of today. February 11, 200719 yr Sorry, to hear that. Are they going to ship you a replacement? And why would you purchase from them? Did you do some basic search? Why not Tigerdirect or Newegg? These are all reputable firms. Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
