February 24, 200719 yr Hi Everyone,Well, I finally built my new system. First off let me start by saying that the reserator 2 is "JUNK", I don't think it could keep an ice cube cool in the middle of winter, during a blizzard. The Typhoon VX cooling fan keeps the system between 10 to 15 degrees cooler than the reserator 2. So if you were thinking of buying the reserator 2, save your money. If you really want to water cool your system, look elsewere. The reserator 2 was unable to keep my CPU (Core2Duo X6800) cool, keep in mind that this processor was "NOT" overclocked during the test. The XFX Geforce 8800 video board runs "HOT", "VERY HOT". The card runs so hot, I may not be able to run both of these cards in the same system (SLI). These cards run so hot, that if I am able to run them SLI, I will more than likely have to keep the case cover off.I have had quite a few "Blue Screens of Death" the past day or two on the new system. I'm not sure if its the heat. I'm in the process of running Memtest86 on the memory. Maybe I have a bad stick.I did manage to fly a few flights today using FS2004. I have "EVERYTHING" maxed out with a resolution of 1600x1200x32. The lowest I have seen the FPS drop down to is 39, that was when I was in New York at John F. Kennedy's International airport.I have the following items installed during my test flights: USA Roads, Ultimate Terrain, Active Sky, All off FSGenesis Mesh Terrain, Ground Environment Pro, All of Project AI's packages (Set at 100%).
