March 1, 200719 yr Need some help. Just received the CH FlightSim Yoke today. After installing, I downloaded the CH control manager to get the sensitivities right. Then, I lost the mixture control and the prop control. The throttle and other controls work fine. Can anyone familiar with the yoke help? March 1, 200719 yr Author I think I solved this by uninstalling everything and reinstalling. Seems to be working. Now I've just got to learn to use it. AMD 3800X, Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT, AS Rock X570 Phantom Gaming 4, 32mb 3600 ram
March 1, 200719 yr I've never had good results with the CHCM myself. I am using a registered version of FSUIPC and assigning all controls (buttons and axes) using FSUIPC. For me a lot better and a whole lot easier. But hope you have good results.
March 1, 200719 yr I got one yesterday, I just plugged it in and used the windows game controller wizard to set it up. Assigned the buttons I wanted in FSX and it is working peachy. Worth sorting out, especially if you have been using a joystick, the difference in realism is amazing.
March 1, 200719 yr I never had any luck with the CHCM, either. The Windows game controller in control panel works fine.~EwingKATLMSI K8N Neo2 PlatinumAMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0 GHz2GB Corsair PC-3200 512x4 Dual Channel CL2.5 DDR DIMM eVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT 256MB DDR3Sound Blaster Audigy LSOCZ Powerstream 420WWinXPPro (SP1)
March 1, 200719 yr Hi,.... to be honest, I never changed anything but used the standard-settings.Means, I just plugged the USBs for pedals and yoke and it worked fine with FS9!However, there are two red buttons (one at each handle, where your "pointing fingers" rest on backside of grip). What would I have to do to assign any function to these?Could these - for example - be assigned to "F12" (for centering my TrackIR) or No1 and No2 as acknowledgement of ATC-Messages received? Thanks in advance for someone having mercy with an old man.RTFM doesnt work. Don`t know where I left it.rgds,Klaus-Peter
March 1, 200719 yr Klaus-Peter, Go into your Flight Sim Settings, under the controller options in the "Buttons" tab, you will find a list of all controls (brakes, radios, etc.). Just pick the one you want, click in the "Joystick" column of the appropriate row, then push the button you want assigned. You can do this for any button, any control. Good luck.
