Still Waiting For Drivers - Are they out?

Featured Replies

Did I miss something? Which of the following is out there?I have been waiting for months and don't know if they have been released. A FSX patch to accept Direct X 10 A high end sim like LD767 of PMDG 737 or 747 to run in FSXAny why wont Dell's new H2C computers ship without Vista? They say games actually run slower with Vista until certain drivers are out there. What are those drivers??When will the wait end???

You can search the AVSIM forums for answers to many of these questions. - the DX10 patch won't be out until late this year. The SP1 patch, however, is currently in beta testing and is expected to be released in the second half of April. - the FSX patch for the Level-D 767 is reportedly in beta testing and will probably be released after its compatibility is verified with SP1. I'm guessing about a month from now, but it's just a guess. - dunno if there's a Dell forum on AVSIM. Check around. - if you search the FSX forum here, you'll see that others are actually reporting BETTER frame rates with Vista than with WinXP. Amazing, isn't it? The wait will never end. Deal with it. Searching the forums will help you cope. It might also help if you avoid confusing compatibility patches with drivers, because they're two totally different things.
