I have been reading this topic that was locked by "Not a Senator" AKA Brian G. Allcott as usual jumped on Al then the bandwagon started. Al did nothing wrong here other than stick up fpr himself. Then "Not A Senator" chimes in with his two cents like Allcott then locks the forum. Al makes a comment then gets hit with personal attacks from Allcot. Allcott who cares if something has been posted before? Why do you feel the need to judge people? Not A Senator, why do you feel to hop on the bandwagon and bash Al too? Al didn't come out with the personal attacks here but you continually permit Allcott to bash and attack others on the forums. JMO

Well just to show that people read different things - I totally disagree with your perception. To me, it appeared that Big Al was complaining initially, then continually rude and inane comments with no purpose other than one upsmanship. I think NAS's action and comment was appropriate. If you wish to complain about a product not working, then at least have the common sense to include your system specs so others can possibly compare. ELse it is just a complaining post as NAS said. Also, just MHOVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

Despite all the "professional" people here, Avsim gets more locked threads that any forum I have ever experienced. hahaha

I think the issue there was that too many people had too many very different personalities....I don't think mod overreacted really, Honestly, this is a support forum - if you come to ask for support we will try to give you some.If you come to rant, be ready for different opinions thrown your way or worse ;)

I agree with you guys that Big Als post was a complaint. I agree with Al that the driver was poor. If you look around other forums you will see Nvidia is taking alot of heat for lack of driver support lately. Al posted "What did NVIDIA do to their latest video drivers, v158.19?No matter what anti aliasing settings, they never go on in the game! everything looks ridiculously wavy.Anyone else see this?Im starting to wish I stayed with the ATI team, nvidias driver team is awful. But at least I can view my aircraft in the preview window..."He asked a question in what Nvidia did to the driver and asked if anybody else had seen the same problem he had? I see no personal attacks in the post at all. So then you have people posting to this the words "selfishly" "lazy" "Big Al gives us the wisdom of Homer Simpson, but stupidly doesn't reveal ANY computer specifications whatsoever. Witty signatures are no substitute for providing the necessary INFORMATION. Why should we even bother?" "useless"Jaap and Allcott just starting berating this guy. Allcott has a habit of doing this. The moderator attacked Al though "It's my topic now, Al.If you aren't asking for help and you're not providing any information or resources then all I can see of substance in this thread is you complaining about not liking something. It's these threads that lack anything constructive that are hurting this forum.I would suggest re-evaluating your attitude towards the forum before posting again." The moderator should re-evalute his attitude and moderate the ones who personally attack others, not the ones who post that they cannot get a driver to work. The funny thing here at AVSIM is you have a small group of people with something in common but always seem to attack each other. Why is it you see this more here than other forums? Probably because if you have been around here for a while, think about the names of people who contributed to the forums? You don't see them much anymore do you? Instead you see the same ones who just like to berate others or throw tantrums. I haven't posted much here since the old Project Freeware days because of that. Of course it was under a different user name then since the forum had changed a few years ago. I'm stating that because somebody here will probably post that I have no right to say that since I only have 80 posts :-roll Sorry Tom for posting this in this forum but the original post was posted here.

Well probably cause a lot of users traverse this forum, and you get a lot of personalities...i dunno
