Featured Replies

I saw a rumor that there was a possible "price adjustment" coming for the Core2Duo chips. My interest is in the e4300 or e4400. Any word on a price reduction for the C2D line??Regards,Dick BoleyA PC, an LCD, speakers, CH yoke

Looking at the new pricing, I wonder if Microsoft had some info on these in advance since I am sure Intel does not do market planning on a monthly basis. This might explain the performance goals they set for FSX which were quite a ways beyond the then current hardware. An over-clocked quad 6600 is probably the most interesting cpu. With the appropriate memory, motherboard, and disks, FSX should reach its target potential when the "DX10" patch is released.Regards,Dick BoleyA PC, an LCD, speakers, CH yoke
