memstatus results -----

Featured Replies

Having used memstatus several times in various FSX scenarios, I have never seen usage figures higher than 61% for system memory and 44% for video memory, and that was at LGA where fps was 10/15 on the ground. I have a P4 3.46Ghz, 2gigs of ram and a 512mb ATI X1950Pro GPU. That just doesn't seem right!?? Or does it?Bruce

well I was running about 80% of my RAM and 99% of my 256mb video ram... It just depends on what plane you fly and how demanding the scenery is

The scenery was stock FSX, but at LGA and with 15% airliner AI (no other AI or autogen). I also noticed that the increase from 256mb(X850XT Platinum) to 512mb(X1950Pro) of GPU memory did not help, at all, with the stutters and blurries.
