October 20, 200718 yr My thinking is a fast HDD and CPU will do the most good when it comes to blurries.
October 21, 200718 yr Agreed, but I wouldn't neglect RAM in the equation. The question is maybe too general to allow blanket statements? Kind regards Jaap
October 21, 200718 yr Mine looks great after 5000 ft,below that it is blurry as heck,and I have a 10,000 RPM Raptor HDD and a 6600 C2D @ 3.6 and 4 gigs or ram,still it is blurry.

It's obvious that the textures don't load up correctly, Aces needs to fix this.
October 21, 200718 yr It depends on what your expectations are.. after upgrading to a Q6660 from my four year old PIV 2.8 processor, the 2m texture tiles in front of me update regularly, much better than before the upgrade where they would not keep up, especially in cities..Now, a 2m texture tile will look blurry below 2000 feet or so.. so if you expect higher resolution, you first need to find some higher resolution scenery.
