November 14, 200718 yr Hi all, just want to know if there are a couple folks out there still using the Geforce 6800GT card on their rigs, and what drivers work the best for them? I currently use the 91.47 series and I know those are outdated drivers, however the newer 163 series drivers just dont seem to visually look better. Any advise? I have not searched for new drivers for some time now. Thanks,Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
November 14, 200718 yr I don't have a 6800 card but I do have what is now termed, an "older" card (7800). For my "old" card the newer drivers just don't seem to work as well as the older ones. I get slower texture redraw with the new ones, for example.Every once in a while I try a newer driver, just to see if it improves things. It never has.
