I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ AM2 socket, 2GB OCZ PC2-5600 RAM, eVGA Geforce 8800 GTS 640MB SSC Edition, WD 250 GB HDD 7200 RPM + Seagate Raptor 40 GB 10K RPM (for pagefile), 22" LCD Monitor, Windows Vista 32-bit, Forceware 169.28 drivers. I am trying to find out what graphics setting I could set it at because I set everything at max and on major airports I get 5 FPS at best. Can anyone help please? I have read some people modifying their .cfg file. Where can I find this info?Thank you in advance!

Where can I find this info?>>Thank you in advance!The best systems available today cannot run FSX maxed out it is very CPU intensive.Every PC is different, and almost every slider will affect performance. Traffic, Autogen and Scenery Complexity sliders will have the biggest hit on performance. You need to turn your sliders down and start tuning your system to what is acceptable to you. There is no magic bullet and what works for one may not work for another. There a plenty of threads in this forum to give you some more ideas. Happy tweaking! ;)

If I can add to what was said...Tweak those sliders, and then:...There is also a feature of FSX where you can save your configurations and load them at any time from the FSX menus.
