March 31, 200818 yr Author Many many people all over the net claimed it was going to be the best graphics card even beating the 9800 GX2. However it seems like even my 8800 GT can keep up with it. April 1, 200818 yr I thought it was common knowledge that every new video card is the best thing since slice bread and you need at least four for quad SLI :)Until you run FSX that is.Cheers,Etienne
April 1, 200818 yr Fear not, there is a good possibility the reviews are fake. The one linked above has been pulled, no explanation given and the only other one I found is from China! Not exactly a reliable source!! Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
April 1, 200818 yr can you say advertising? The vast majority of "reviews" are paid for either by the company selling the product under review (and thus give great marks) or a company selling a competing product (and thus give poor marks). And that goes not just for websites but magazines and TV shows too.

April 6, 200818 yr The 8800 GTS and GTX have 384bit memory busses. The 9800 GTX has a 256bit memory bus. Imo this is it's weakness. It has 16gb per second less memory bandwidth than a 8800gtx. The 9600GT also has a 256bit memory bus.The 9800 GX2 is slower than two 8800gtx's in sli because of the memory bus issue. Not to mention the each core on a GX2 only has acess to 512mb of memory, while 2 8800GTX's will have 768mb x 2.
