April 26, 200818 yr No problem MikeI would not worry about it. I do understand the engineering and theory behind NCQ and it does provide I/O performance under the right conditions. Game/home systems really do not meet the criteria for that.When and if you upgrade to a new motherboard, when you install you now know what to do in the BIOS to ensure any performance hard drive you may buy will perform.At least you know now your drives are performing to spec, which was your major concern.
