I've been gettng this message on boot up for some time now. It seems to have started whenI changed from the on board nvidia graphics to an ATI HD 2900 XT PCI express slot. The computer does eventually boot up, but it sounds like its looking for some file on the hard disk,as it makes clicking sounds for some time.I'm using Vista home premium edition.Anyone have suggestions?Ron

If you haven't already, all I can think of is to make sure onboaard graphics ia disabled in BIOS. Then delete your ati drivers. Maybe run a registry cleaner and reinstall drivers.Maybe this might help,http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/host-process-for-windows-services-stopped-working/Bob
