Change of primary video setting in the BIOS

Featured Replies

Hello,When I bought a new computer a few months ago I also bought a new vid card and had BestBuy install it while I was there. The card is a PCI-E card and I thought it would run great.. Well it did, but it wasn't as great as I thought. Come to find out that the video setting in the BIOS was still PCI instead of PCI-E. I think I have seen a noticable improvement... Does this actually effect anything or am I merely suffering from wishfull thinking and blurry eyes. I think I have seen a modest improvement in frames as well as the ability to run higher AA settings. Just thought I would trow this out there for any of you computer guru types.Respecfully,Scott

What other choices are there on your motherboard?
