July 6, 200817 yr I currently have an 8800 Ultra. In FSX, some addon aircraft slow down my frame rate. I recently purchased the CLS 747 and when I used virtual cockpit view with this aircraft, my frame rate drops nearly in half. Would upgrading to a GTX 280 solve this problem? Also would upgrading to the GTX 280 give me better performance with the LD-767 aircraft? I saw the benchmark results for FSX and the GTX 280 did worse than an 8800 Ultra but now there are newer drivers out and I don't know if that improved performance in FSX.
