November 8, 200817 yr I tried many things to span FSX over my 2 17" LCD screens but I don't get it working. Some people say that UltraMon works, but I don't know how that works. If I windows FSX and click on the span option of ultramon the screen stays on my 17" display and on my other 17" display it's still black. It doesn't stretch.Does anyone have a solution for this, I would thank you very much if you can help me.
November 10, 200817 yr If you are operating in full screen mode, this is correct behavior.Windows is hard-limited to using full-screen exclusive mode (*the mode you are in when MSFS and all other games is in full screen mode) on the primary monitor. It will blank the secondary monitor and not display anything there until full-screen exclusive mode is turned off.In order to use multiple monitors in MSFS, you are required to use Windowed mode for operation. It'll take a few days/flights to get used to it, but as a former die-hard full screen user, allow me to say that Windowed mode really is not that bad at all! Good luck,-Greg

November 10, 200817 yr ---"---you can hide the menu bar and collapse the task bar:"----------And if change the colour of Title Bars to black/dark gray with dark green lettering, they also "disappear". The final result is an appearance not much different than with Full Screen.Alex Reid
November 10, 200817 yr Thank you for the responses. That should be a solution to use multiple screens, but I'm searching to get one wide screen over my 2 displays like in this YouTube movie: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=48l-F5ycKCA.
November 10, 200817 yr If you have an nVidia card, use "Horizontal span" mode rather than "Dual view".
