DX11 Screenshots?

Featured Replies

It will be several years before quality of the levels shown in those screenshots will be prevalent in games. Game developers are hardly taking advantage of DX10 yet. No point getting worked up over DX11, considering there's not a single announced PC title in the works which is said to utilize this API.

"What Techguy said!"...and...Software API's (such as DX) only open the doors...You still need:A.) Hardware capable of actually running fast enough in real time to generate such images.B.) Software written to take advantage of both the API & the fast hardware. After the DX10 "hype debacle" (effecting FSX and many other titles), everything DX11 will get an I'll-believe-it-when-I-see-it reaction from me. Cheers!-Greg
