Hi All,I have decided to open a logo & decal warehouse.I have stacks and stacks of various high quality, hand drawn logos and decals, and have decided to make these available to painters in 1 central location.I know it can be a real pain trying to find decent logos and such, which is why I decided to do this.Anyone think this is a good idea?CheersDan.

Hmmm.......it's a bit of a can of worms, but surely if we are allowed to post repaints with the exact same logos on them, whats different about posting just the logos themselves?CheersDan.

Interesting idea! Would you also include flags? I am having a hard time finding good flags that are either the correct size I need or that are resizeable without distortion.Trevor

Hi DanI think your idea is excellent. It certainly can be a time-consuming task trying to find aircraft whose logos can be used for painting. I don't think there are copyright issues given that we can "peel off" logos from aircraft photographs for freeware texturing. Perhaps you could state that use of them is for freeware texturing only.Fully support you.CheersMike

Hi All,Yeah, I will include flags, I just thought that it was a shame to have all these nice resources sitting on my HDD when people could put them to good use.As for the copyright issue, I do think that it should'nt be a problem, if there was a problem, then I think that they would have problems with us uploading them on repaints anyway, that said I will still have various disclaimers on the site ;)CheersDan.

I have actually thought about retiring from painting altogether and just doing logos and fonts by request. I could teach my cat to slap stripes on a plane; making fonts and tail logos is the tricky part.

I actually find drawing fonts and logos the best part of painting for me.As such I draw everything by hand, and have a very large amount of logos and fonts, which is why I thought about making them available.Still have not got round to uploading any yet though :(Dan.
