Replacing colors in CS3 Extended question...

Featured Replies

I am a complete moron apparently. I have read a LOT of tutorials...but then I read where color replacement wont work in bmp's!What I am trying to do is repaint NWA A319,332,333 and 744's into Delta 07 colors. I really want to do this myself, but I am at the point of just asking someone to repaint them...someone please help!

Well, I guess not...

Sorry about not seeing this one!Could you post shots of the schemes you want to change and in to what scheme. There is a tutorial on my website for changing colour in bmps using Hue and Saturation however the success of this depends on the scheme.

Strange.I visited the site several times this week ( and this moment for testing ) and the page works amazingly fast. All pages load within less than a quarter of a second.OK it`s a little slower in the afternoon but certainly not lazy.RegardsLeen de Jager

I don't have CS3 but .... in Photoshop 6.1 you can use Image, adjust, channel Mixer and remove color from selected areas.I use this all the time. doesn't remove shading.Joe W.

Well as all can see from my files that I figured out a work around using DXTBmp and good 'ole MSPaint. Proves that through perseverance (and finding out about DXTBmp), that anything is possible! Brian Beard
