January 11, 200521 yr yeah, I'm getting better at it too. I got it off the ground with very little headwind. My landings need some improvement, but I've still got a month or so :)- dcc
February 6, 200521 yr Saw you on BN last night. Teamspeak is pretty easy to install and setup. I used bushnet's IP address to connect once the software installed. You simply type in the IP address and type in a name such as your aircraft callsign and hit 'connect'. I have a microphone I bought from Radioshack for $12 that attaches to my shirt and has an on/off switch. I programmed TS to "push to talk" using the FS ATC key (since in MP there is no ATC). Works fine for me. Good luck!
February 11, 200521 yr Do you guys want to conduct a more formal practice for the Last Weekend before the Race? And can we encourage people who have been lurking to get out and try a few legs on this weekend? Any ideas about how we might do this? This is our last chance to get a lot of participation. It would be a good thing if we had a few more "veterans" around who were familiar with all the procedures and with the pressure of flying under race conditions.Best,Mike --Mike MacKuen
