FS Live Traffic / My Traffic

Featured Replies

Hello! Is it possible to integrate VOXATC with traffic files from other companies like My Traffic oder FS Live Traffic? Will my aircraft be integrated in the general traffic flow? Thanks,Tom

Hi Tom,VoxATC operates independent to FS AI traffic, it has no control over AI traffic nor is it programmed to have any information about FS AI traffic. The traffic calls you hear are generated by the program itself to be a realistic depiction of FAA communications so it includes traffic diversions and speed assignments, FS2004 was not programmed with this ability. If your computer is fast enough you can run AI traffic (usually at a lower setting then when not running VoxATC) so you can see other aircraft in the air and at airports, but it will operate independent to VoxATC.Zane

Needles to say nobody these days properly 'integrates' AI traffic within the ATC. For this reason I turn down AI since I can't stand totally unrealistic go-arounds. Radar Contact promises some advances in this area in v 4.0 but we will see. I am yet to try VoxATC but what I hear intrigues me. I was never satisfied by interacting with ATC through on-screen menus no matter how excellent the software might have been.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2
