I am interested in this software but would like to read first the operating manual or a comprehensive review. Any links would be most welcome, thanks.

Hi Keith,There is the article I wrote for Avsim back in January, this link should take you to it: http://www.avsim.com/pages/0105/voxatc/voxatc.htmlMuch of the manual is available on their site: www.voxatc.comThe demo will operate on your computer for 30 days and allows flights between three different airports and includes all the manual with it.Hope this helps,Zane

I think you'll find it a valuable add-on. It's a little rigid in the expected response (i.e. when climbing or decsending and you are asked to contact another controller, it's almost impossible to tell what to say as far as the altitude you are transitioning without looking at the prompter).Overall I find it really adds allot to my experience, escpecially since I am building a home cockpit and do not use the mouse or keyboard at all. Most callouts are intuitive and I find that voice recgnition is about 95% right the first time, so you don;t end up repeatedly trying to respond to a call. I speak in a normal voice, inflect as I want - you don't have-to-talk-like-this.Try the demo and after a few times flying with it you'll find that you have the vocabulary nailed and can really get allot out of it.
