AT&T Voices stutter in FSX

Featured Replies

I recently purchased Mike and Crystal from AT&T and set them up in VoxATC-X. The problem is that when they talk they more often than not stutter and break up. I have no other sound anomalies with my system and they work fine "outside" VoxATC.Is it because my PC is starting to age?DaveSpecs...Athlon +3200 + 1.5Gb RamRadeon X800XT AGP-8X2 x 120Gb Sata WDSoundblaster XiFi GamerFSX SP1P.S. The standard MS "robot" voices work fine too.

It is most likely caused by your computer's resources being pushed a little too far. First try turning off any unneeded programs (background programs), defrag your hard drive, make sure you have more than 10% free space on your hard drive. Also check your anti-virus/firewall software. Many times you can turn off the portion that is checking the "microsoft games" and "internal workings" folders so your AV is not spending CPU cycles checking the interaction between these two programs.

Thanks for your reply. When I fly everything's turned off or disabled that isn't necessary, and EndItAll finishes off the rest. Guess I'll have to upgrade!Cheers.
