Voxatc for FS2004

Featured Replies

Hello,In VOXATC FSX version, there is a way to pick which voice you want to hear for ATC and traffic. In the fs2004 version, I see no such option.I have some different AT&T voices I wouild like to hear, but I dont know how to tell the software to use them. Is this possible in the older fs2004 version?ThanksPolmer

Install the at&t voices in windows then open speech properties in your windows control panel. Click on the text to speech tab and click on the voice selection drop down menu. You should see the new voices there along with the microsoft voices. Select the desired voice as the computers default voice. The FS9 version of VoxATC can use only one voice and modifies the gender and rate of speech to provide some variety. If your computer can handle FSX I would try the FSX version as it supports two each male and female voices and also interacts and displays your AI traffic. Good luck.

The Deluxe FS9 version of VoxATC, the one that shipped with the ATT male and female voices does allow for seperate male and female voices. I believe the latest FS9 version for download also has this feature. FSX version allows for two individual male and female voicesets as already posted.
