Just purchased and installed the product and am getting familiar with it.I have onboard sound and a sound card enabled. Currently my FSX ATC output goes to the headset. IN the initial testing of VoxATC, the mike works fine but the output comes from the speakers. Have you tried the "sounds and audio devices properties" window? If you are running XP you can set the audio to one card and voice to another card. Vista has a similar arrangement although the name may be different.

Found the culprit - had everything set to the sound card in FSX and Device manager but hadn't set it up in the text to speech audio output in control panel.ANothr question though - I'm using the 2 ATT voices that came on the CD but I find it annoying when the same voice speaks as the pilot and then answers as the controller. With VoxATC X you can have four assigned voicesets. I purchased a male and female 8khz voice set from Cepstral and use them for the other aircraft voices and maintain the higher quality ATT voices for the controller. Mixes things up nicely and the 8khz voices from Cepstral are not as clear as the ATT so makes for a more realistic combo of sounds.
