FMS flight plans

Featured Replies

Hi all. Great to have a dedicated hideaway for Aerosim fans! Anyone tell the company yet?Has anyone found a source of flight plan data for the FMS other than the samples included with the gauges supplied? I am going to start building up my 1980's L-1011 routes for Cathay, but don't want to waste time on this if it has already been done!MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

Hello Mark,Yes, AeroSim has been notified. They have very few English speaking members, so they were very happy to see a AeroSim Forum. They do browse this Forum and may answer questions?Do you have the flight plan converter program by Stefan Hofg

Yes, Ed, I have Stefan's program and am getting into using it, but am not sure that the FS Flight Planner can give me the accuracy I can achieve with FS Nav. Certainly, it's easier to create fixes with FS Nav, such as are required for the correct approach pattern to Kai Tak. But thanks.Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

Hello MarkI use the plan converter with plans exported in .pln format from FSnav FSbuild and also Airplan, no need to use the FS Flight planner.
