French voices in Tahiti

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,I live in Tahiti (french polynesia) and I'd like to know if it's possible to have the ground crew speaking in french, as I use to start my flights from Tahiti international airport ? Has also a french version of FS2crew for ATR been planned ? Otherwise, FS2crew is a very great product !Thanks a lot !Tomana

Thank you for the kind words Tomana :-)I'll add expand the French voice area to include Tahiti and the Ivory Coast to the next Service Update, which I hope to release shortly. For a pure French version of FS2Crew, I'd need to have a couple French people to re-record all the wavs. It's a massive job.. over 150 MB worth of wavs alone. If you can find anyone will to do it, I can provide some assistance.Take care,Bryan

Hi Bryan,Thanks four expanding french voices to french polynesia area and so I will for the next service update. For translating fs2crew in french, I will check for friends who might be interested in doing that. I'll keep you informed !Thanks again, tomana

Hi Bryan,Just one question ! I know that translating FS2Crew in french is lots of job but what about if I'd like to change the music that is being played during passengers boarding sequence. The music is good and I think it comes from ATR factory, isn't it ? My idea is to play our local songs that are played in Air Tahiti (local compagny) if it's possible of course. How hard is this job ? If you give me the procedures maybe I can try to do it.good luck in everything you do !tomana
