Hello Ed,Glad to hear you like the ATR Edition.As to your sound issue: I'm afraid that's not normal.I might suggest adjusting your sound hardware acceleration properties in Direct X. See what happens.It could also be that your sound card is having difficuty processing all the sounds.It's hard to say as I have not experienced this one before.-Bryan

Hi bryanThanks for the very quick response, played around with the sound settings and have now sorted the problem. For anyone else with the same problem: control panel, sounds & audio devices, volume, audio, advanced, performance, hardware acceleration full.Thanks again for the very quick reply, much appreciated.Ed
