Custom Voices and Full Briefings?

Featured Replies

Hello. I was just curious. I read in a previous thread on this forum that FS2Crew comes with a limited number of full SID/STAR and IAPs briefings. Out of curiousity, just exactly how many is, "limited?"Also, is it possible to record your own voice to use as the captain or first officer in FS2Crew? FDC LiveCockpit allows for this ability, though it is difficult with the number of recordings required. I did it, anyway, and I would gladly do it again if FS2Crew supported this. :-)Thanks!HighFlightP.S. From what I've read, and the amount of support I've seen you give, $20 for this software is a very comfortable price considering that it cost $40 for just the 737NG.

Hello HighFlight,Here's a list of all the Briefs. I'd like to do more, but each brief is quite big (up to 3MBs or more) and that becomes an issue given that FS2Crew right now is only available as a download. Obviously I can't do every SID/STAR/IAP in the world given that there are thousands of them and you would probably need to buy a second hard drive just to store them all.That said, you can use the Generic Briefs for the ones not listed:Regarding recording your own voice, the .wav files FS2Crew uses can all be opened by the user, so you'd just have to record your voice over the Captain's or FO's voice. FS2Crew uses a huge number of .wavs, so while it's possible, it would also be a lot of work.All the best,BryanSIDs:#0 GENERIC - (ATC Assigned Headings and Altitudes)#1 WMKK - Agosa A (32R)#2 KSFO - Porte 3 (28L, Avenal)#3 KLAX - Ventura 4 (24R)#4 EHAM - Arnem 1R (06)#5 EDDF - Kirn 2C (07L)#6 EGLL - Midhurst 3J (09R)#7 VHHH - Ocean 1C (07L)#8 KATL - Atlanta 5 (26L)#9 KJFK - Kennedy 9 (31L, Canarsie)#10 KBOS - Logan 2 (22L)#11 EDDM - Kempten 6E (08R)#12 YSSY - Katoomba 1 (34L)#13 CYLW - Kelowna 3 (15)#14 KSEA - Seattle 3 (34R)#15 ENGM - Skien 4A (01L)#16 CYVR - Vancouver 3 (08L)#17 CYYZ - Avro 5 (15L)#18 EGCC - Hon 1R (24R)STARs:#0 GENERIC - (ATC Assigned Headings and Altitudes 1)#1 GENERIC - (ATC Assigned Headings and Altitudes 2)#2 WMKK - Sasri 2 Arrival (32L)#3 KLAX - Sadde 6 (Avenal, 24R)#4 KSFO - BigSur 2 (28L)#5 EHAM - Toppa#6 EDDF - Etaru 4E (07L)#7 EGLL - Ockham 1C#8 KATL - Macey 2 (Volunteer, Landing West)#9 KJFK - Camrn 4 (Atlantic City, 13L)#10 KBOS - Gardner 3 (Albany, 22L)#11 EDDM - Salzburg 4M (08R)#12 YSSY - Rivet 8 (34L)#13 KSEA - Olympia 5 (Landing North)#14 EGCC - Mersi 1C (Via the Isle of Mann)#15 ENGM - Sig 3E#16 CYVR - Accord 7 (PAE Transition)#17 CYVR - Stave 3#18 CYYZ - Simco2 (15L)#19 CYYZ - Simco2 (33R)IAPs:#0 GENERIC - ILS#1 GENERIC - VISUAL#2 WMKK - ILS 32L#3 KLAX - ILS 24R (Used during Monitored Approaches Only)#4 KLAX - ILS 24R (Non-Monitored)#5 KSFO - ILS 28L#6 EHAM - ILS 06#7 EDDF - ILS 07#8 EGLL - ILS 09R#9 VHHH - ILS 07L#10 KATL - ILS 26L#11 KJFK - VOR 13L#12 KBOS - ILS 22L#13 EDDM - ILS 08R#14 YSSY - ILS 34R#15 CYLW - ILS 15#16 KSEA - ILS 34R#17 EGCC - ILS 24R#18 ENGM - ILS 01L#19 CYVR - ILS 26R#20 CYVR - ILS 08R#21 CYVR - ILS 26L#22 CYYZ - ILS 15L#23 CYYZ - ILS 33R
