December 6, 200421 yr Hi Guys,Does this update install any additional items to the panel.cfg file?.The reason I ask, I have custom gauges that I added to my PMDG B737 panels and I do not want to lose this data.If there are no changes to the panel.cfg file, is there a way to add the update without making changes to the panel.cfg file?. If not will this be available in the future.? Just think its a pain to have to backup and reinstall my gauges whenever there is an update.BTW: Love the product!!!!ThanksMike
December 7, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hello Mike,The only changes to the panel.cfg files are that it incorporates the Dual Monitor fix which was made available a couple days after FS2Crew was initially released. There is also one other little change: The position of the CPAL icons have been changed, but if you like were the CPAL icons are now then that shouldn't be a concern for you.The Update installer will overwrite your existing panel.cfg file.I suggest you backup your custom panel.cfg file, run the Update program, then copy your custom panel.cfg file over the update panel.cfg file if you want to do it that way.Otherwise you can just do a simple "copy and paste" job with your custom panel.cfg entries and add them to the new panel.cfg.Make sense? All the best,Bryan B.
