Could somebody please suggest a reference on the subject of Aircraft De-Icing and the climatic criteria which determine when it should be applied.Searches in Goggle and Avsim have not produced anything very helpful so I presume that this information is concealed in various carriers Standard Operating Procedures.The F/O recommended De-Ice with an OAT of less than 10 degrees (? Celsius or Fahrenheit)and visible moisture.David.
