November 19, 200421 yr I have bought and loaded FS2Crew but havent yet had time to sit down and learn how to use it yet... that's planned this weekend (hopefully!).In the meantime, if I just want to go for a short flight, how do I stop millions of little FS2Crew windows popping up? I am position at LFMH in France with FS2Crew giving me ATIS for Boston (???) and ground crew and flight crew speaking in American accents!
November 19, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hello James,It's easy. Just don't click "Start" on the Config page. The ATIS printout is generic. FYI, the one for Boston was taken off a flight deck printer. It's the Real McCoy, as are the other flight deck printer print-outs. The fuel slip is even real, too. American accents in France: FS2Crew includes French Accents, among other world accents. The geographic area that the triggers the French Accent for France is defined by Lat/Long coordinates.Given that Europe's borders are anything but square, there is always the chance that your airport could fall out of the defined Lat/Lon area for French Accents. In that cause you'll get the default US accent. If you want to test the French accents, go to Paris and you'll hear them for sure.A bientot,Bryan B.
