May 1, 200620 yr Hey folks,I have a slight hitch with my FS2Crew, it has worked fine up til now, I did a flight a few days ago where I did not require a pushback (first time I have done a flight where I did not require a pushback). I followed all the checks and instead of a pushback I informed the ramp that the engine start was complete and that he was clear to disconnect..this flight went without a hitch...however, and here is my problem, all subsequent flights I have undertaken where I have required a pushback I'm not given one, I have the pushback distance set and the turn angle set also but the guy on the ramp just keeps telling me to inform him when the engines are started, thus not allowing me to get pushback via FS2Crewcan anyone help?thanks
May 1, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi Alan,Double check check how you have GET DEP set on the Config Page.Make sure it's set to 'Yes'.Hope that helps,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
May 2, 200620 yr Thanks, I haven't tried your solution yet, but my last few departures have been off stands so I have been setting this to 'No'I would never have thought of this, given that there are stands where pushback is still required (gatwick is a big example of this)nevertheless thanks for the quick response, I'll try it tonight. Thanks again (for the help and the wonderful product)
May 2, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi,Take a look at the manual again. It is possible to do a pushback at a stand (Gate selected to 'No').You have to press a special button though.Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
