May 21, 200620 yr hi, OK, we know that arming the auto throtle will give us the departure anoucment and relevent checks. What happens when during the departure brief, the Captain selects No Auto Throtle? This means that we don`t press the A/T prior to our To The Line Checks? So what triggers the relevent checks that would usually take place, and of course if we dont let the cabin crew know that we are about to depart, then Health & Saftey are going to swarm over your virtual ####! Hope that made some sense, hey Brian! lolRegards David
May 22, 200620 yr If you select that auto-throttle will not be required for take-off you are still obligated to arm the auto-throttle prior to take-off, except when you are lined up on the runway you are not going to engage TO/GA using autothrottle, instead you manually increase to take-off power and health and safety get to bug other people :)
May 22, 200620 yr Commercial Member Alan,The auto-throttle must be armed for FS2Crew to know that you're going into takeoff mode. You can still hand fly the departure if desired not use/engage TOGA.Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
