FS2CrewLite Cessna 172 Edition, FRQ Change Prob

Featured Replies

Hello allI have a problem changing the frequency for the FBO and Club. I can change it in the Mode Box, some work, some don't. I tried 136.85, changed it in the mode box, set 136.850 on COM2 (Flight1 C172R) and clicked on Diversion. Nothing happened. Elec Power was switched on, of course. When I changed to 136.80 it worked! I tried xxx.85 and xxx.90 until 127.85 and it still didn't work, bit from 126.85 it did. It's strange.Has anyone had similar probs? Please respond.Greetings,Peter Lemmerich

Thank you, Bryan, for this quick reply. Can anybody reproduce this behaviour? Maybe it's my add-ons which cause this problem. Please post your answers.Greets,Peter

Hello Peter,The good news is that I can reproduce your issue. After some further investigation I discoved some rather odd things about the way Microsoft handles radio frequences in the (narrow) range you mentioned above. I know what the problem spot is, and it leaves me scratching my head at what Microsoft did and why.In the meantime, just don't use the frequencies in the range you mentioned, and all will be fine. It only affects a very narrow range of frequencies, so it's not a huge issue, but I'm still going to fix it.I may have to re-code the frequency section to get around this issue. All the best,Bryan

Thank you Bryan for your answer and effort in trying to solve that problem. Although my real company uses 136.850 as the company frequency in LSZH, they don't operate C172s, however. But it added a realistiv touch to it. Bit it's not that serious. For me the main thing is, that I can switch those frequencies in order not to interfere with online ATC which is operating on COM1, but you never know, maybe they will introduce COM2 as well.Cheers,Peter
