FS2 Crew and Eaglesoft Cirrus

Featured Replies

I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced the Crash To Desktop qith the Eaglesoft Cirrus and FS2Crew. It had plagued me for a long time and I wasn't sure what was causing and finally pinned it down to some sort of conflict between the two. Maybe they share a common file that don't work well together.Regards,

Hi Richard,This is the first I've heard of it.What crashes what?In all likelihood when you installed the Cirrus it over-wrote the gaugesound.dll that FS2Crew uses.Look in the FS2Crew folder in your FS9 directory. There is a another copy of the gaugesound.dll that must be installed or you will get a crash (at least if you load a panel that calls FS2Crew gauges).Copy that gaugesound.dll to two locations:1. Windows/System32and:2. Your root FS9 folder.Hope that helps,Bryan

Thanks Bryan for the quixk reply. I installed the Cirrus and then reinstalled FS2Crew and everything appears to be working okay now.One of those weord errors I guess.Regards,
