Where did my default Cessnas go?

Featured Replies

So I bought FS2Crew for the Cessna 172 the other night (I'm not really comfortable in the jets yet, as I am a dirty n00b) and that's where things started going wrong.I installed the software, went in to FSX and all but the glass cockpit 172 were gone! I personally don't like the glass cockpit 172, I'd rather have the analog gauges to look at. Is this normal for all other instances of the 172 to vanish? I didn't have any add-on 172's, just the ones that came in the game. Any ideas?

Bryan,Thanks for the reply. Here's more weirdness: I went to grab the panel.cfg file for the 172 and noticed that it's not there! The backup that was created during installation is there, but that's it. Should I perhaps try a reinstall first?

Hi,That's an odd one :-)You could always just rename the backup file (drop the .bak extenion) and use it as the panel.cfg.That would work.Email me and I can send you an original panel.cfg since yours seems to have vanished into thin air.Cheers,Bryan
