has anyone else seen this in the VC view and know how to correct it?

As to the texture problem you might try and turn off "Reflections" in your FS menue. To get it off the ground you must use the afterburner or reheats.Regards,Ed

I know how to fly it... I just get this bizarre smoky reflection through the VC windows...
