TCAS problem

Featured Replies

Hi everyone!I have a problem with TCAS. The first officer does not turn RA/TA mode on when I do the RTO brief. I have used FSCrew for a while now and TCAS has worked OK before. Now I can't get TCAS in RA/TA mode when FSCrew is active. Or in fact, I can activate it at first (even with FSCrew started) but after IRS has aligned the First Officer turns TCAS back to "XPDR Only" position and keeps turning it back to that position if I try to activate RA/TA mode myself. To be clear: this selector I talking about is in the "Transponder TCAS Control" panel on the pedestal -- NOT the EHSI TCAS On / Off toggle button.I once activated FSCrew right before take-off (following the instructions in the manual). After that I noticed the problem with TCAS. Maybe it's just a coincidence.I imported panel state from FSCrew tutorial flight but no help from that. I have update 1.2 installed.Any ideas?

Hi,If TCAS worked before, but all of a sudden it stopped working out of the blue, it suggests something happened to a TCAS related file on your system.I suspect a TCAS DLL was overwitten by another program. All I can suggest is that you re-install the Level-D aircraft with SP3, and then re-install FS2Crew.All the best,Bryan

I was just hoping there would be a quicker way to solve this. Is it possible to get the original TCAS dll somewhere else?
