"curious noise"Sorry mate, but that's not enough to even guess what sound you're referring to. Is it a tone or horn noise, a clicking sound, a buzzing noise, sounds like a pterodactyl swooping in for the kill, or what?This reminds me of the movie Fargo. Hi Bob !I look for it today :It look's like buzzing sound , or a very high pitched bip, a continuous sound.When I look on my upper panel it comes..and curiously I've the same with engines cut off ,stand by power off , battery switch off ???? That sounds like the instrument sound file (rp732_400hz.wav). You could try renaming the file to rp732_400hz.xxx and see if it goes away...it'll make the cockpit unrealistically quiet, but will probably stop the sound on exterior views.But...before you try that, have you tried starting from a default Cessna 172 with the power switches configured as described in the readme? Where is this folder situated ?.In second time I never find the line " rp 732_400 Hz.wav; I try to find it to " aircraft cfg " and "sound" I'll never see it !
