Tinmouse reduced thrust?

Recommended Posts

How can I go about doing reduced thrust takeoffs with the Tinmouse?I've used the thrust computer but haven't figured out a way get it to reduce. Or should I just get the real manual?

The PDCS gives you rated takeoff thrust for a given temperature. You could flex the thrust down (i.e. derate it) by entering an assumed higher temperature, or set the thrust markers manually with data from AFM TOLD calculationsRegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

Thanks Bob.Actually I knew how to derate I meant (sorry!) where to get a table/utility that would like me do it safely with no er, off-roading.I suppose I could get UTOPIA to do it.

Interesting. I got a F.A.R. Runway Takeoff length requirements, plus a formula to convert field altitude to a density altitude. I've done like 6 takeoffs using a variety of loads and lengths and the plane took off from right at the end of the runway. If this keeps panning out I think I can make a .tod file for UTOPIA.
