March 14, 200818 yr For some reason I cannot engage the Aileron side of the Autopilot.Ive used this plane before and it all worked perfectly. Just recently re installed with all the new updates and it not won't engage. I can get the Eliv side to kick on. The click spots for it seem to be out of place. Any Ideas?Bryan
March 15, 200818 yr More than likely your stick is not centered. If the aileron input is even slightly nonzero, the A/P axis won't engage.I would suggest a joystick calibration, and ensure that the center "dead zone" on that axis is large enough that the axis is always at zero when centered. The FSLook utility that comes with the FSUIPC SDK is an east way of watching your inputs.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case

I even have 2 different setups for my FS: one for my Logitech force feedback joystick (with FS Force installed) and other for my travel gamepad. My problems started when using the gamepad, I can't engage the A/P. Checking on FSUIPC>Joystick calibration, it says my joystick is effectively centered (it says both aileron and elevator output is zero), but I'm still not able to engage the A/P. June 28, 200916 yr Looks like I've found a solution for my problem: I was sending the signal from my Aileron and Elevator axis directly to FSUIPC: I mean, I had "Type of action required: Send direct to FSUIPC Calibration" set for Aileron and Elevator axis. I changed that so I 'll now send the signals first to FS2004 and from there to FSUIPC (as it was by default). Now the Autopilot has no problem to engage. But as nothing in life is perfect and Murphy's Law is always there to remind us of this fact, I updated drivers and got stuck in 800 x 600... but this is for another topic.En resumen, the solution to this problem is to make sure that in Axis Assignment, for Elevator and Aileron, they should be set to "Send to FS as normal axis", and make sure this axis are assigned in FS. Too bad I found the solution after riding a real-world 737-200 :(Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11.
