September 1, 200619 yr Hello,I am using Airliner Pilot, will FS2Crew 747 be compatible with that? Airliner Pilot uses a 'new' pmdg 747 directory (on installation it makes a copy of a few critical files from pmdg 747) and copies and uses that directory with the panel.cfg file in it (so it doesn't use the original pmdg 747 panel.cfg on startup). If this is a problem, would a copy and paste of the original panel.cfg before each flight solve this problem??Thanks so much~!~Martijn
September 1, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hello Martijn,I don't own or use Airliner Pilot, and don't believe any of the testers do either. However, if Airliner Pilot is referencing its own copy of the PMDG 747 panel.cfg, then Airliner Pilot will run independently of FS2Crew.FS2Crew only gets loaded though the PMDG 747 panel.cfg located in the PMDG Aircraft folder. To comment futher would be pure speculation. You can always try it and see what happens. FS2Crew comes with a 30 day money back promise.Cheers,Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 1, 200619 yr Hi thanks for the quick reply.I am downloading/purchasing the program right now. 'refund within 30 days' NAAAHHHHH, we don't wanna do that now, do we? If it works or not, I'll be a keeper!I let you you know what I can come up with to make AP and FS2crew work, I think its a matter of modification of AP's PMDG747 panel.cfg.Any other critical PMDG747 (config) files used what I should be aware of?~Thanks and happy landings~Martijn
September 1, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hello Martjin,The only PMDG files that FS2Crew uses are the panel.cfg and the keyboard.ini file. FS2Crew reads from the aircraft.cfg and the gauges.ini file, but I doubt AP would touch those.Let me know how things go with Airliner Pilot and FS2Crew.Cheers,Bryan B.
