February 23, 200323 yr Has anyone found the best fix for flashing scenery textures? I just downloaded and installed the Nantucket airport and even though the terminal and other buildings have been faithfully recreated, many of these structures flash continuously. On the other hand most of the scenery I use flash to only a minor extent. Do some scenery designers use better tools than others? My system:Dell Dimension running XP HomeGeForce3 Ti200 w/ 23.11 drivers1.8 P4 w/512 RAMThanks for your help!Airbus Al Kaupa Digital Storm purchased 8/17/2011; Win7x64: Asus P8P67 Deluxe; Intel i7 2600K@3,9 GHZ; nVidia GTX 560Ti; 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator; Power Corsair HX 750W; Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD; 300GB WD VelociRaptor; 1TB Seagate.

February 25, 200323 yr The only fix I know of it to use a Flatten command. Slew around the area of the airport and find the coordinates then look up the use of the Flatten command in the FS2002 help file.Is this scenery designed for FS2000?
February 25, 200323 yr Author Hi,One method is to lower the MipMapping Level setting. I am using GeForceTweak to set it to -0.3 (best setting = -3). (still some but acceptable flickering. It influences the fps.hm
