I had a similar problem with sim1.dll causing a CTD when loading AI planes. ClearlyI must have an issue with one of my numerous (FS9) traffic.bgls.I cleared the problem by removing all the traffic.bgls and reinstating them 2 or 3 at a time. So far so good, but I've a lot more to put back before I find the culprit. At the same time I'm changing the airports that FSX has changed compared to FS9 which is taking up a bit more time.

I have had the same problem with the Sim1.dll, but like you it only occurs at night. Problem with night textures on ai planes? I think it happens because we are just bringing FS9 ai planes and bgls and throwing them into FSX. That probably causes problems. I'm going to remove my FS9 bgls and use World of Ai's new installer and see if the problem goes away. I'm not sure I want to use one of the commercial ai packages available because their planes just don't look good.Lee
